Local Race Training Groups
Our Local Race Training Groups are designed for runners who want the structure, support, and community that make training both effective and enjoyable. Athletes in the program benefit from weekly coached group workouts, custom training plans tailored to their goals, and expert guidance throughout the training cycle. With the accountability of scheduled sessions and the motivation of training alongside others, runners stay consistent while building fitness, confidence, and community along the way.
What's Included?
Initial Athlete-Coach Discussion
- Athlete completion of goal setting and intake form
- Pre-program call to discuss race goals, current fitness level, lifestyle and health limitations, and training schedule.
Tailored Training
- Development of a custom training plan for the duration of the program (10-12 weeks)
- An in-person coached weekly workout and long run
- Access to daily training and communication with the coach through the Final Surge App.
- Access to the group page on the Final Surge App for all athletes in the program to communicate and encourage each other.
Pre- and Post- Race Support
- Pre-Race Call to work through race strategy, pacing and nutrition.
- Coach presence at race.
- Post Race/Program Debrief call to discuss race outcome and next steps if desired.
Extras
- Custom Dynamic Endurance Coaching T-Shirt (or upgrade to race singlet)
- Access to resources on nutrition and recovery
